The 25th IEEE* International Conference on Autonomous Robot Systems and Competitions (ICARSC2025) is an international scientific meeting in the field of Mobile Robotics financially co-sponsored by the Portuguese Robotics Society, IEEE Portugal Section, IEEE Portugal RAS Chapter and technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) and the IEEE Education Society Portugal Chapter. The ICARSC conference is currently a top international scientific conference in the field of autonomous robotics and competitions.

This conference is promoted by the Universidade de Aveiro, Universidade do Porto, Instituto Politécnico de Bragança, Instituto Politécnico de Tomar and the Portuguese Society of Robotics, with logistic support from Secretaria Regional da Educação Ciência e Tecnologia da Região Autónoma da Madeira.

The conference will take place in Pavilhão Madeira Tecnopolo at Madeira Island, on April 2nd and 3rd, 2025, in conjunction with the Portuguese Robotics Open, a RoboCup-sponsored Local Event with several other associated competitions. Its scope encompasses, but is not limited to, the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Education. The conference is planned for physical participation.

The conference content will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. As in previous editions, special issues of extended selected papers are planned for publication in international journals indexed by Thomson ISI Web of Knowledge.
